Sectional qualifiers were held on March 4 and 5, 2017 at four locations around the state: Milwaukie Bowl, Muggly's, The Epicenter, and at Rimrock Lanes. The Oregon State USBC added $1,000 to the scholarship fund for this year's Pepsi Youth Championship! This brings the total to over $2,233 in added scholarship funds.

2014 Pepsi USBC Youth Championships Sectional Qualifiers are Set with Optional Handicap Entries Available - March 1st and 2nd, 2014

Sectional qualifying will be held at four centers:
- Four Seasons Bowling Center in Hillsboro
- Pioneer Lanes in Independence
- Roxy Ann Lanes in Medford
- Rimrock Lanes in Prineville
Sectional qualifying will take place on March 1st and 2nd, 2014. Bowlers will compete in 5 age divisions for boys and 5 age divisions for girls. At least 1 in 5 bowlers in each division (minimum 5 bowlers) will advance to the state finals. Advancement to the state finals is based on scratch scores only.
Bowlers under the age of 10 as of August 1, 2013 will bowl 3 games. Competitors 10 and over will bowl 6 games. See the rules and entry form below for squad times available.
This year, bowlers have the option to enter handicap competition for scholarships. The optional handicap entry fee is an additional $5. This gives everyone a chance to earn scholarships in this event. Handicap scores will NOT be used to determine advancement to the state finals.
Bowlers who advance to the State Finals will compete at Emerald Lanes in Eugene on April 26th and 27th, 2014.

Pepsi Youth Sectional Qualifying Tournaments Conclude as bowlers prepare for state championships in Albany
Congratulations to the 96 youth bowlers of ages and abilities and from all parts of our great state that have qualified for the upcoming State Finals.
The Championship Finals will take place at AMF Albany Lanes during the weekend of April 21-22 where bowlers will be competing for scholarship dollars through the USBC SMART scholarship program.
All girls and boys 11 & under will bowl 3 games on Saturday and 3 more on Sunday with their handicap added to their scratch scores. All bowlers 12 & over will be bowling 6 games on Saturday with the top 1 in every 3 entries returning on Sunday with some of the girls and boys competing in either the handicap or scratch divisions.
Following the completion of 12 games of competition, the top girls and boys scores from the scratch divisions will have the opportunity to represent Oregon at the North Pointe Jr. Gold Championships this summer in Indianapolis.

2012 OSUSBC Pepsi Youth Championship Tournament host centers named for sectional qualifying competition
Park Lanes in Hillsboro, Town and Country Lanes in Keizer, Hanscam's Bowling Center in Klamath Falls, and Madras Bowl in Madras have been chosen as the 2012 host centers for Sectional Qualifying of the 2012 Oregon Pepsi USBC Youth Championships.
Qualifying will take place at all four centers on the weekend of March 3rd and 4th and there are six divisions in which to qualify for with separate handicap divisions for boys & girls 11 and under, and handicap and scratch for boys and girls 12 and over.
All qualifiers from the sectional competition will then move on to the state championships which will take place at AMF Albany Lanes on April 21-22nd where all bowlers will be competing for scholarship dollars through the USBC SMART Program.
This tournament will also serve as a qualifier for 2012 North Pointe Junior Gold Championships for all Junior Gold Members and for more information please check out our national website at bowl.com.
