OSUSBC Members Spread Holiday Cheer  to our Veterans

OSUSBC Board members (L-R) Steve Kiss, Bob Schmaling, and Brad Mclean were all present for the annual BVL Contribution check presentation to the Portland Veterans Administration Medical Center.  Receiving the check is Portland VAMC Executive Ronnie Smith.  The $4,700 check will help fund the facilities recreational and therapeutic programs for the many veterans they serve and care for.

Thanks to the yearlong efforts and generosity of USBC members throughout the state of Oregon, the holiday season for many American Veteran was made much brighter once again this season.  Over the past two weeks we’ve been honored with the duty of presenting over $15,000 in checks to the three VA Hospitals in Portland, Roseburg, and White City, the Oregon State Veterans Home in The Dalles, and Veterans Center’s in Portland, Salem, Eugene, Bend, and Grants Pass.

During these presentations many of the folks we spoke with were eternally grateful for the fund raising efforts of our membership and wanted to send out a BIG THANK YOU to everyone!  Great Job, OSUSBC Members and thank you once again for remembering and supporting our veterans and American Heroes’.
